Meet Our Team

Behind Healing, Justice, and Dignity

Behind every healing circle, every emergency response, and every empowered woman stands a team fueled by purpose, compassion, and courage. From strategic visionaries to grassroots facilitators, we bring lived experience, professional care, and feminist values to every corner of our work. Together, we build trust, restore dignity, and co-create powerful change across Lebanon and beyond.

Why Our Team Matters

At Circle of Wellbeing, change doesn’t come from the top down—it comes from within communities. Our team reflects that truth.

From war-affected mothers turned facilitators to educators and global advocates, we are not just here to serve—but to stand with. Many of us have lived the very struggles we work to heal. That’s why we lead with empathy, move with integrity, and build with women—not for them.

We are proud to be a trauma-informed, feminist, multilingual, and locally rooted team.

“I founded Circle of Wellbeing after witnessing how deeply women in Lebanon lacked access to safe, healing spaces. What began as a vision is now a growing movement thanks to our team and community.”

— Thea Munkeby, Founder

How We Work

  • We center the voices of those closest to the work, especially women with lived experience.

  • Every team member is trained to hold space with care, boundaries, and cultural sensitivity.

  • Programs are shaped by the real needs of women—spoken, shared, and lived.

  • From finances to facilitation, we lead with trust, clarity, and responsibility.

What Our Team Stands For

At Circle of Wellbeing, our work is guided by values rooted in care, dignity, and justice. These shape every circle we hold, every voice we uplift, and every decision we make.

Women’s Empowerment

We create spaces where women reclaim agency, leadership, and voice—especially in times of crisis.

Health & Wellbeing

From maternal care to mental health, we center holistic healing for the body, mind, and spirit.

Rights & Awareness

We raise awareness on women’s health, rights, and safety—breaking taboos and building knowledge.

Trauma-Informed Practice

Every program is shaped by compassion, consent, and psychological safety—because healing starts with how we show up.

Self-Care as Resistance

We believe rest, creativity, and joy are not luxuries—but vital acts of survival, resistance, and deep resilience.

Dignity in Aid

We don’t just distribute support—we do it with respect, choice, and the belief that dignity is non-negotiable.
