Event Description:
To mark the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, Circle of Wellbeing’s founder Thea Munkeby gave a heartfelt presentation at Levanger Library, in collaboration with Kefak and the Norwegian-Palestinian Association.
With around 70 attendees present, Thea spoke about the ongoing genocide in Palestine and shared reflections from Circle of Wellbeing’s mental health and community work with women and families in Lebanon. While the organization does not currently operate in Palestine, the presentation served to raise awareness of the interconnected struggles across the region and highlight the urgent need for dignity-based care and healing in conflict-affected areas.
The event also raised valuable funds for our continued work in Lebanon, showing the power of community-led solidarity and the importance of standing together in times of crisis.
We are grateful to everyone who attended, listened, donated, and stood with us in the call for justice, healing, and human rights.
